The Sweetest Thing

So I know Daphne was writing about Mr. Craps but I wanted to add something in because its so cute.
So you remember last week we had a problem with the store. It was a minor issue but it basically meant that anyone who bought our new releases for two of the days had an issue getting their books delivered. Alexis and IT Guy basically solved it. This happened right as we were getting to Vegas.
Now bear in mind that Daphne’s story had ended by this point and so Alexis told us all to go to the spa while she sorted the matter.
Well IT Guy and her sorted the matter for sure over the next several hours and got everyone their books.
But then Alexis came out and met us that evening after she posted on the blog she seemed a bit down.

“What’s wrong?” Paige asked her.
“I miss IT Guy,” she said. “I want IT Guy.”
“You really like him, don’t you?” Paige asked.
Alexis just nodded.
“Well, let’s go to a strip club!” Sophie interjected.
We all looked at her like how does that lead to this? But whatever. So we went to Spearmint Rhino – they sent a limo to pick us up. They waived the cover charge and sat us at a table. I mean what strip club wouldn’t do that? We basically legitimized them so hard by having a bunch of women come over to celebrate.

“We should go to Thunder Down Under,” I suggested, although to be clear I also love strip clubs where there’s women because its so sexual.

“I want IT Guy!” Alexis said apropos of nothing again.

“Honey, if you like IT Guy so much, just listen to the Angels and tell him,” Natalie offered. We all nodded. The Angels had spoken on the blog and they were right most of the time when they weighed in the way they did.

“Okay,” Alexis said and got up from her chair.

“Wow, I totally didn’t mean now you know,” Natalie said to us as Alexis left. She didn’t want to call from a loud and noisy club.

Ten minutes later and no Alexis.

Fifteen minutes later and I went out to see if she was okay. She was standing there with her coat on (Vegas was cold at night when we were there and windy too) and talking to IT Guy with a big smile on her face.

After about another ten minutes she came back inside and ordered drinks all around. I was happy because that was the Alexis we were used to. The effervescent, bubbly, party girl who loved to have a good time.

There was fun to be had. I think we all got a lap dance. A stripper made Natalie cum (that’s another story) and Sophie and Alexis got invited to the stage by the DJ. I have to say I think all of us got a thrill out of watching the two of them do things for dollar bills.

We got to the hotel around 2:30. Alexis and I were sharing a room and we crashed out.

In the morning there was a knock on the door. It woke me up and I was surprised to see Alexis already up and showered and dressed. This made me wonder what could be wrong because this is a girl that normally doesn’t like to get up at least until 10:30 am if she can help it. She has to most days but weekends she’s dead to the world in the mornings.

“Lana wake up!” Alexis said excitedly.

“I’m up,” I said groggily. “What’s going on?”

There was another knock on the door. Alexis ran to the door to open it.

“You get the room to yourself!” she yelled! I got out of bed to see what was going on.

And there was IT Guy, with Alexis wrapped around him tight.

He smiled to me and eventually they closed the door, most likely to go to his room or wherever (it was morning so I don’t actually know if he had checked in yet or what).

But I didn’t care.

I just went to sleep with a big smile on my face.
