So today THE POWER WENT OUT! For me that’s… like normal. I lived in the south, and no matter what they say, a storm’ll take your power right the fuck out.
But well the Angel household was shaken today by this hahaha it went like this:

Lana: Oh, look, the power flickered on again.
Alexis: aaaand it flickered off.

We all pause. Alexis starts cracking up, just laughing, saying this never happens in California.
I grab my laptop, setup a hotspot, and get Callie’s fabulous new release out!!!

Alexis must live in a special part of California cause I also live in California probably not far from you all, and power will go out if it gets to hot and to many A/D’s are running…called “Brown out” (as a Mexican American I think “brown” out is racist) lol. ..I do agree we don’t loss power that much.
Brown out does seem a little rude lol but like at least the idea is you’re out and that equals a bad thing!

Ya’ll are Lucky! Up in WA (State), we had a Power outage a few years ago that lasted WEEKS…. AND Some areas of our state still get that EVERY year with the weather. I’M unsure WHY our power companies haven’t barried ALL the power lines Nationwide YET! Especially, with the amount resources wasted yearly on manpower, Materials, downtime, customer service, & whatnnot… You’d think It’d be a bigger priority… But obviously NOT!
I can only say, I’m thankful for My Extremely Hardworking Power Company…

Oh my goodness, I can totally understand and I would probably have been worse. I HATE THE HEAT INSIDE where it’s supposed to be cool.
