So first off Angels, we have some big changes to the store happening on the backend that mean we can’t release a book today. But the first phase of those changes should be all signed off on by this weekend at which time I think we’ll have a really special treat to release but this change is going to be akin to what AngelAccess was…which revolutionized how the store distributes its books!
Anyways, everyone is like wondering what happened to WineBar because he called at seriously the worst time. And truth be told, I would have been fine to let it ring and go to voicemail but IT Guy was like no you have some unfinished business to take care of and he was totally willing to give me space to clear up loose ends and stuff.
I was not having that. WineBar has intruded too many times in this life. And while I was absolutely ok and not afraid to talk to him, I didn’t want him ruining another moment for me.
Angels, you remember what I went through.
No more not having time for me. No more not committing when IT Guy was so much better than him in so many different ways. I mean, IT Guy’s dick feels so much better inside me even. It’s not even like oh I miss the sex and I’m settling.
So I picked up my phone and called WineBar back in front of IT Guy. IT Guy just raises his eyes.
“Hey,” I said into the line.
“Alexis, we need to talk. I want you back.”
“Well, babe, guess what?” I said.
“Yeah?” he asked, hopeful.
“I’m standing here, about to tell the guy I want to be with that I want him as my boyfriend.”
“What?” he asked.
“Yeah, I am so into him. He’s amazing and he makes me happy. So I don’t think it’s gonna work out anymore for us, babe.”
“You’re kidding me!” he said!
“Nope. You met him. He was naked. When you knocked. Anyways, we’re officially dating.”
“Since when?” WineBar asked.
I looked at my watch.
“Since like in two minutes from now.”
“That makes no sense,” he said.
“It will once I hang up. Bye!”
“Please don’t call back.”
But I hung up.
And I looked at IT Guy.
“That work in terms of showing you where my heart lies?” I asked him.
He just nodded.
“Then come over here, and kiss me,” I said to him. And then I added, “Boyfriend.”
And he kissed me.
