Happy Galentine’s Day

Hey Angels!

Meant to get this post up a little bit earlier but I’ve been planning a special surprise for Alexis.

Yes, she’s my best friend. But she also been working incredibly hard on the store. Did she mention she’s on her period, too?

Like duh she needs chocolate. But she’s also been trying to find lots of new authors. Been trying to coordinate a lot of books.

So today isn’t just Valentine’s Day.

It’s Galentine’s Days!

And if we’re celebrating with The Alexis Angel, there’s some things you just don’t miss.

• Shopping. Makeup. Lingerie. Books! I have a limo ordered to take us shopping and to carry all our bags so we can do some shameless mega-shopping and not think about just how much we’re spending. This is about celebrating.
• Wine & Dine. I’ve got the booze and food covered with a few bars that I know we’ll need to hit, and then we’re doing an incredible dinner. She doesn’t know that I flew out some seeeecret author friends!
• The ooey gooey sentimental part. Now, honestly, this is pretty much my favorite part of what promises to be a fabulous day for sure. I have all her newsletters in a book for her that continues with her blog posts. She’s really evolved in how she likes to tell her story. AND I got every. Single. Book Cover. All of them. Into a gorgeous digital frame that goes above her desk. I want her to see her hard work. I mean sure I bought her a track suit that says Naughty Angel on it (btw does anyone want one? I had this one done custom and it was kind of pricy but I’m wondering if we can get some up for sale). Sure I organized the store files for her with Paige. But going down memory lane? I mean I spent a good part of the morning while getting coffee reading the very first messages I sent between her and I.

Now, sidebar, don’t get me wrong. I love all the Angels. We have the best authors here. But meeting Alexis forever changed my life and yeah I wanna celebrate her.

I totally got her a tiara.

Now I’m about to go surprise her…then we’ll enjoy a very dirty surprise she had for me. Can you say syncronized blowjobs? Yeah, we keep it interesting around here. She’s getting her IT checkup and I’m saying “ahhhhh” the dentist.

They say you spend today with the ones you love.

And I know that Alexis–and all our friends I invited–are the people I can’t wait to spend today with.
